The poles are by far thicker and more durable than the Coleman tents that we just retired. I expect this tent will withstand the wind much better that our old tents. I believe I will never have to set up the kids tent again, they can do it on their own. Oh, did I say it actually fit right back in it bag, which is unheard of with most tents. Great for families! I was skeptical of this claim, but my hubby was able to set this tent up in about a minute.
